Affirmations for an Amazing Day

Positive affirmations are proven to have a significant effect on our mindset throughout each day. I like to start my day by brewing a cup of coffee and reciting affirmations as I sit and sip. I sit at the kitchen table with a hot cup of my favorite Cinnabun Roast Coffee, and inhale the cinnamon-y sweet scent. I exhale, releasing any tension in my body, and say to myself, Today is a new day, today will be a great day. I take my first sip. It feels comforting to have something positive to focus my thoughts on before taking on the challenges and stressors of the day.
Here are nine affirmations to set intentions for a peaceful and productive day:
- Today is a new day full of opportunities.
- I embrace this new day with hope, courage, and love.
- Today will be a good day.
- I take on the challenges of the day with a solution-focused mindset.
- Every day is a new chance to improve myself.
- I celebrate myself as I check off my to do list.
- I am at peace with where I am and excited for where I am going.
- I learn something new each day.
- I am focused, motivated, and ready for a productive day.
Pro tip: If you can, get up a few minutes before everyone else to do this practice on your own in a peaceful environment.
After practicing affirmations for some time, I find myself automatically repeating them as I reach hiccups in my day. This allows me to pick my energy back up and remain focused. It can be easy to lose momentum as we go through the day. Adding affirmations to our daily practice is an excellent way to keep our positive energy flowing and thriving.
